Geographic sediment split in half, a dust cloud enters the atmosphere. Gently flowing past telemetry interference. Geothermal exhaust heats earth and lush grounds. Glistening specks in aerial maneuvers floating harmoniously.

A split between two of Chicago’s finest provocateurs of engaging sound sculpting and ambient passage carving. Opposite spectrums of style but colliding perfectly on the two sides of this tape. The A side is a single track from BOTTOMED, the project of Nick Dellacroce (Bongripper, Hate Basement, Consent). A steady burning build of sub-bass and dead atmosphere. Heavy tones of slow shifting sound that erupt in rumbling tectonic shifts. Distant drones weave in and out providing false solace when the impending doom of void ambience creeps back in. The B side is two tracks from HOLY FAMILY, the project of Will McEvilly (Rectal Hygienics, Hate Basement, CSTVT). Each track of which is a gorgeous stroll through expansive ambience, outlined by foliage plucking chords and notes filled with tender care. Flipping stomach under night sky as radio signal goes past in a blip.
